It has the same length as the two sides of my computer together (the side behind the screen and the side on the right of the screen).Overall, though I really like it. But if you need a mouse that you can take far away from the computer this is not the mouse for you. I own this mouse for two months and I have experience no trouble with it. IT moves smoothly on the screen of my ASUS G50.Two things one should be warned though.a) It is a tiny mouse and if you have really big fingers and palms you might find it uncomfortable.b) The cord for me is the right size.
